About The Event

Passion for the Village is an annual dinner-auction that raises the funds necessary to support programs and services at Children's Village. This years' event was held under a tent in the Children's Village parking lot and included a silent and live auction, games, a dinner by Zesta Cucina, and a family story. Our emcee and auctioneer, Kevin Joyce, shared the stage with this years' featured family and guests of honor, the Avena family, whose 15 year old daughter has used Children's Village services for over 4 years. In this time they have all become a part of the Children's Village family. Being a place where children with special needs are children first and are defined by their unique qualities, talents, and potential; not their diagnosis; Children's Village is a true gift to our community.
